Privacy Policy

As you may be aware new data protection legislation, (General Data Protection Regulation, or ‘GDPR’), is coming in to force in the UK on 25th May 2018.

Here at Dance Planner we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy, and will only use your personal information to provide the products and services you have requested from us. When registering for a classes/events/tuition etc we are required to request medical information and emergency contact details in order not only to comply with our Public Liability Insurance, but to also ensure that we can provide you with safe tuition (including any necessary adaptations.)

From time to time we would like to keep in touch with you about the classes, courses, events, and one-off workshops we provide. On rare occasions it may also be necessary to contact current clients regarding changes to the services purchased, e.g. changes to classes that are unpredictable or outside our control.

We will always ask for your consent to be contacted, and your preferred means of contact, for example by email, telephone, text message.

Our privacy promise to you means that we would never pass your details to a third party, and that we promise to keep your details safe and secure. Our newsletter provider, Mailchimp, stores only your email addresses, and also adheres carefully to the GDPR.

Your data will be kept only whilst you maintain an active interest in attending classes and events, and you have the right at any stage to ask to view the data that we store, or request that your data be removed from our system.
